At eleVe ballet, we are not your typical “dance studio” (hence our dance, different motto). eleVe strives to be a safe, sanctuary-like space that supports and adapts to every body’s needs through the fine art of ballet. The divine beauty of ballet is the what we aim for—one of the main goals of class, but ballet is much more than an image. We use dance as a metaphorical tool to shape ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. There is no “competition” among peers in the soulwork each dancer is faced with at the barre. We are the only ones standing in our way.

V’s instruction is mentorship-oriented and trauma-informed, seeking to help her dancers unlock their own capacities for mastery, despite discomfort or doubt. At eleVe, you and your personal story you bring into the studio will be seen, valued, and safe to grow. Though we dance together as one—yay communal energy—eleVe ballet respects where each individual is on their dance journey, whether new, a vet, or someone who is returning after decades away. If you’re someone who may not fit the typical mold of “ballerina” and has felt like somewhat of a misfit in classes but love to dance, eleVe is just the place for you.

We value ballet, but more so the ballet dancer. Every one of our dancers and their individual potentials and expressions are lifted up in every class. No matter your background or shape, V views everyone the same: a beautiful dancer who has shown up at the studio, ready to be taught. To a teacher, there is no greater gift.
