In more than a few pages of my memoir, I write about getting high after school with my boyfriends. We’d waste the sunny days away in the shadows of their rooms, smoke swallowing us whole as we gazed up at the Forever 27 posters on their walls, like the floating faces of Hendrix, Joplin, and Kurt Cobain were a place to reach.

Still Standing is priced at $27 to honor those who didn’t make it out of addiction, and to celebrate those of us who are—against all odds—still standing. The black detailing in this design represents the dark pit so many of our loved ones have fallen into, leaving the world too soon. Rest in peace Sam Howe | 1988-2024 & Dave Savary | 1988-2020. We raise these mugs to you.
